A traditional Pakistani Wedding at Tatton Park
What a gorgeous day at Tatton Park! I canβt believe itβs been a year since Hena and Usamaβs wedding.
Hena arrived at Tatton Park with her entourage of family and friends. It was so lovely to see her loving family and supportive friends around her before Usama arrived.
Hena chose a muted red colour for her lengha and decor in shades of cream, gold and light pink. The fairy lights complimented the blossom trees and ivory tones of the Tennantβs Hall.
Henaβs dadβs demeanour really touched me. At every moment he was making sure his girls were well, even though he was trying to make sure the guests were ok and the wedding was running smoothly. Henaβs parents made wonderful speeches. Her dad spoke in soft soothing, perfect Urdu (and yet again I was tearing up behind the camera). Her mum spoke of Henaβs love of the English language which had inspired her to become a teacher, and how particular she is about grammar. So Iβve proofread this post just for you Hena haha!!
We went out for portraits to enjoy some gorgeous weather and it seems the guests followed suit soon after the meal as Tennantβs Hall ahd emptied with us taking group photos outdoors and the guests savouring the green lawns.
I love shooting at Tatton Park (no, I donβt get paid to say nice things haha). Genuinely, itβs such a lovely venue to work at, not only as itβs close to home but the Events team are so lovely to work with. They make sure the bride is always happy, and everything is running smoothly, and always with a smile. Just the way weddings should be.
Here are some of my faves from the day.
